Brushing your teeth post operative is an important step in the healing process. Brushing near the surgical sites is accomplished by using a soft bristled manual toothbrush to gently clean the adjacent teeth. We ask that you do not use electric toothbrushes for the first 5-7 days post operatively. Electric toothbrushes can aggravate the surgical site due to the intensity of the vibration when brushing.
